Did You Know?

The beautiful tree majestically overlooking the library is a European Purple Beech Tree. The tree was a gift from the graduating class to Sawin Academy, the school that originally stood on the site of the Sherborn Library. It was planted in March, 1876.

Earliest history of the town. Includes some excerpts from early Town Records which are no longer extant. Much of its information is incorporated in Morse's History.
